L’Envol des Pionniers invites you to find out about the history of L’Aéropostale and its pioneers which still inspires aviation today. Immerse yourself in the fabulous adventure of these daring and visionary men and women who risked everything to connect people and get the mail through.
Visit the permanent exhibition
In the exhibition, on your own or supported, you will meet, alongside period objects, canvas workers, mechanics and famous pilots who will tell you about their job and the challenges they had to overcome.

The Tour de Piste
Accompanied by one of the characters from L’Envol des Pionniers, discover the entire historic site of Montaudran, from the airfield to the assembly buildings including Didier Daurat’s office. A guided tour that will surprise you. Explore (link to the tour)
And exclusively, visit a real mail sorting wagon whose arrival at Matabiau station marked the beginning of the mail adventure on La Ligne. Board a mail carriage and find yourself in June 1930.
